After graduate school, Micaela taught Spanish for four years at Garfield High School in Seattle, two years at Pacific Middle School in Des Moines, and most recently she worked at Fred Hutch, helping the public navigate bilingual cancer care. Speaking Spanish has helped her fulfill her vocation for youth education, and she’s excited to share her experiences and enthusiasm for multilingual education with her new students! When Micaela is not teaching, she loves going for a run, traveling, watching OL Reign and Sounders games, skiing, paddle boarding with friends, or petting her parent’s dog, Tucker. |
