Tuition

Tuition for the 2026-2027 school year is $42,250.00. Tuition covers 1:1 Chromebook use, our learning support program, athletics, the Academic Resource Center, field trips (day and overnight), class texts, yearbooks, and student planners. There is an additional cost for participation in our after-school enrichment programs, outdoor programs, and summer camps.

Financial Assistance 

L-Dub is committed to offering financial assistance to qualified applicants. Equity and social justice are at the core of our mission, and we're steadfast in making sure every accepted L-Dub student receives everything our program has to offer. Admissions and financial assistance are entirely separate processes; every application is considered on a need-blind basis.

We know tuition and fees represent a significant financial commitment, and for many families, a real barrier to enrolling. For the 2026-2027 school year, L-Dub reserved approximately 17% of its overall budget for our Financial Assistance Program, designed to offset the difference between a family's resources and the cost of attending L-Dub.

This year, our financial assistance program is supporting over 33% of the student body, with an average award of over $20,000 per student. This commitment to access, and to making an L-Dub education possible for families who might not otherwise have considered it an option, is deeply important to us and to our community.

Financial assistance awards do not need to be repaid.

How to Apply for Financial Assistance

The financial assistance application process

We partner with Clarity to accept financial assistance applications for families enrolling for the 2027-2028 school year.

The Clarity portal will open to accept applications for LWGMS in December 2026, and applications can be submitted here. Depending on your family's circumstances, the application will likely require most of the following, uploaded through the online portal:

  • 2025 IRS Form 1040 tax return, including all schedules
  • 2025 K-1s from any partnerships
  • 2026 W-2s and 1099 forms from all places of employment (as soon as available, but no later than February 4, 2027)
  • If completed by the time your application is submitted, please also upload your 2026 IRS Form 1040 tax return

All required materials are due by February 5, 2027, with the exception of 2026 forms, which are required as soon as you receive them from your employer.

Important:

School policy states that if parents/guardians do not file a joint tax return, each parent or guardian, custodial or not, may be asked to complete and submit an application separately in order to be considered for financial assistance, regardless of personal tuition payment arrangements. Parents/guardians within the same household should complete only one application. A financial assistance application is considered incomplete until all custodial and non-custodial parents/guardians have submitted the required information. Fee waivers

Clarity has specified fee waiver guidelines based on family income and will not charge a fee for qualified filers. Families who don't qualify for a waiver and would like assistance covering the fee may request one from L-Dub. Financial Assistance Considerations

In allocating financial assistance resources, the Financial Assistance Committee considers:

  • Financial need, as documented in the Clarity evaluation
  • Submission of completed IRS 1040 tax forms and supporting schedules, W-2 forms, 1099 forms, and other applicable documents
  • Retention of current financial assistance recipients who demonstrate financial need, as a priority over new applicants
  • Unique family circumstances not readily captured in the application (for example, recent employment changes)
  • Grade-level socioeconomic diversity
  • Grade-level enrollment goals
  • Adherence to the financial assistance process and deadlines

The Financial Assistance Committee uses the Clarity analysis as the primary factor in determining awards.

Allocation of grants

Families are notified of financial assistance awards when they receive their enrollment contract for the coming school year.

Appeal procedure

Families may appeal the school's financial assistance decision to the Chief Financial Officer. Appeals must be submitted in writing, either by email to [email protected] or through the Clarity platform, before the deadline for returning the signed enrollment agreement and deposit.
